Hi guys,
I hope you all are enjoying Cinco de Mayo! I am sorry to miss it…I could really go for a margarita and some chips and salsa right about now. I forget how hard it is to get Mexican food internationally.
Sorry for the hiatus, but work has been consuming all my time lately. But today is officially our last day of the project! We spent the last week working non-stop on our case. I have been pretty bad about taking pictures these past few days, so below are just a few fun ones from my trip so far (walking through a cave up by Sossusvlei, eating kudu, crocodile, zebra kebab, nothing for miles around, and an ice cream cone in Swakopmund). And yes, those are giraffes just running by the side of the road. I hope you are all doing well, and I miss you guys!

How do crocodile and zebra taste? and what was the other thing in that gargantuan kebab? I guess you got your protein, which is a good thing. Since you're missing Mexican food, I'll take you to Mario's La Fiesta on your way home from the plane or whenever it is that I first see you. Victoria Falls sounds extraordinary. Lots of love, mom
